
TUKIE TALES is a complete series of five fun and entertaining stories for children. The characters are Tukies, young forest animals, and a young brother and sister named Jake and Amy. Tukies are visitors from another planet and use their special powers to help others--well, most of the time! The youngest Tukie likes playing little tricks on his friends, much to the delight of young children. They live in a mystical forest and make wishes come true with a special wish rock found deep within a cavern from their home planet. TUKIE TALES™ uses fun and positive reinforcement to teach life skills, safety and the importance of nature while having fun and adventures for children aged 4 to 8.
Lost!
Lost in a forest after wandering away from the safety of their backyard, Jake and Amy meet the Tukies. The adventures and lessons learned along the way help them realize the dangers of wandering away from the people they love.
I Can Do it!
Cody the beaver is learning how to build a dam from his father. After disappointing attempts, Cody wants to give up. Cody’s dad and friends encourage him to believe in himself and keep trying, which helps him be the best he can be.
Teamwork is Best!
Jake and Amy learn the advantages of teamwork and cooperation during a family trip. By watching the family, the Tukies also learn about the benefits and realize when there is work to be done, it’s faster and more fun if everyone does it together.
Helping is Fun!
The Tukies tell their friends about teamwork and they all decide to gather the food each family needs for winter. A dangerous situation occurs and the bravery of small friends keeps everyone safe. After the work is finished, they receive praise from their parents and this encourages everyone to want to help again.
Kindness Counts!
Jake and Amy make treats for the birds, animals, and Tukies. When climbing the ladder to hang the birdhouse, their dad nearly falls. Rue saves him using his special power. The children learn about empathy and compassion and when kindness is given, kindness is returned.
